Daily battle rules

Everyone gets the same questions at the same time. Here's what you need to know before tonight's battle.

Lives

Daily battle: you start with 3 lives. Continuous battle: 1 life only. In both cases, each wrong answer costs one life. No lives left and another mistake: you're eliminated for the rest of the game.

Jokers

You can use a joker on a question: your answer counts as correct automatically — handy when you need to save a life.

Frequently asked questions

Is the daily battle free?

Yes. Battles are free. A ticket only reserves or enters certain battles. Tickets are given regularly when you play, with no purchase required. The daily 9pm battle does not require a ticket.

What time is the battle?

Every night at 9:00 pm — UK slot uses Europe/London, US East slot uses America/New_York (Eastern Time). The countdown on this page shows your next slot.

How long does a battle last?

About 5 minutes. Everyone plays at the same time with progressive eliminations until one winner remains.

Do I need to install the app?

No. You can join in your browser. Android and iOS apps are optional if you prefer the store install.

Do I need a complicated account?

No. The goal is to get you into tonight's battle quickly. A simple sign-in may appear on some platforms, but it's not a long onboarding flow.

Can I play with friends outside the daily battle?

Yes — solo, party and other battles exist in the app. The 9pm daily battle is the main event promoted here.

Are there ads?

Squidz stays free. Ads may appear to fund the game. The no-ads option in the app removes them.
